test Most of today's riding lawn mowers have no capacity to mount a trailer ball. This is due to the use of thinner metal to save money in manufacturing. Even if the factory hitch hole is drilled to fit a trailer ball, the thin metal will not hold the weight of the trailer. The TowMow reinforces the rear face of the frame with two heavy gauge powder coated steel brackets. This spreads the force load evenly across the back of the frame. The TowMow also moves the ball attachment away from the mower to increase clearance for the trailer. There is no drilling required for most applications. Installation takes less than five minutes!
